OUR TECHNOLOGY

LTTC technology and its impact on reducing GHG emissions

LTTC (Low Temperature Combustion Catalyst) technology and its benefits

Reduction in inlet temperature by 76º F.
Reductions in emissions:
  • NOx by up to 95%.
  • CO by up to 87%.
  • CO2 by up to 18%.
The LTTC technology will significantly reduce GHG emissions through heat harvesting and improved efficiency of engine combustion.

In numerical models from academic lab trials, LTTCs delivered great results: lowering the inlet temperature by 76º F resulted in reductions of NOx by up to 95%, CO by up to 87%, and CO2 by up to 18%.

By implementing LTTC in existing ICEs, including diesel engines, the project provides a solution that combines improved engine performance and substantial emission reductions.

In fact, emission reductions from the use of LTTCs will significantly lower - or almost eliminate - the need for expensive aftertreatment systems. LTTC will appeal to regulators and consumers. Government officials will appreciate lower and zero emissions, while businesses and consumers will significant savings derived from more efficient and longer-lasting engines, reduced fuel consumption and significantly lower utilization of aftertreatment systems.

Potential benefits:
  • Improved engine performance.
  • Substantial emission reductions.
  • Reduced need for aftertreatment systems.
  • Appeal to regulators and consumers for lower and zero emissions.
  • Significant savings to businesses and consumers.
